T.K. Gore is veteran digital sports media executive having served in leadership, partnership and business development roles at NBC Sports Group, Comcast, AOL Sports, Universal Sports, Home Team Sports and Associated Press. 

Gore founded Court 5 Consulting in early 2018 as a boutique digital media agency working with start-up businesses in the sports and technology space as well as sports marketing and experiential agencies.   

Gore served as a Senior Director, Digital at NBC Sports Group (2009-1017) where he played the role of General Manager and Executive Producer of the NBC Sports Chicago Digital business; he was responsible for digital operations and management, live streaming, business development, strategy, sales and sponsorship, content development, partner relations, distribution, social media, product development and analytics.

Gore played a vital role in creating the digital and live streaming business for NBC Sports Chicago (previously CSN Chicago). Gore, recruited by Comcast Sports Group when ESPNChicago.com launched, was instrumental in building a 24x7 digital content studio and newsroom in 2009 and forging digital partnerships with Chicago Blackhawks, Chicago Bulls, Chicago Cubs, Chicago White Sox, Chicago Bears, Chicago Fire, University of Notre Dame, IHSA, CDGA and PlayOn! Sports that propelled CSNChicago.com to new traffic records, changed the overall original content philosophy and fortified CSN Chicago’s position as the leading digital provider of regional sports coverage.

Prior to joining Comcast Sports Group in 2009, Gore served as Director of Marketing & PR at start-up Universal Sports, where he oversaw marketing, premium subscriptions, content creation, communications and public relations. Prior to joining Universal Sports in 2006, Gore spent more than seven years at AOL (1998 – 2006), moving up the ranks to the position of Senior Manager, AOL Sports where he worked on business operations, strategy, content development and partner relations in managing NFL, NBA, NASCAR, MLB, WNBA, NHL, PGA Tour, CBS Sports, HBO Sports, Sports Illustrated, Turner Sports, NFLPA, WWE, The Sporting News, STATS Inc. and SportsTicker. During his career at AOL, he was instrumental in developing AOL Sports into one of the leading global internet sports sites.

Gore started his career at Home Team Sports (1994 – 1998) in affiliate sales, distribution and marketing in working with the Baltimore Orioles, Washington Wizards, Washington Capitals, ACC and CAA.

Gore graduated from George Mason University with a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in English. He currently is an adjunct professor teaching Entrepreneurship in the Sports Industry at Northwestern University within the School of Professional Studies. He has taught digital and social media at The Graham School at the University of Chicago and sports media at Georgetown University.
